On Sunday September 1, 2019, the island of Abaco in the Bahamas was struck by Hurricane Dorian, a Category 5 storm. This terrible storm left massive devastation on that island before moving on to batter the island of Grand Bahama leaving a trail of utter destruction in its wake.

Thousands of Bahamians have lost their homes and personal possessions and there are now reports of multiple deaths as a result of this hurricane. Families have been separated and left without communication and basic necessities.

This tragedy has really pricked our hearts to provide assistance in a much greater way as many of those affected are our dear friends. Some of them are our very own family members. These islands need our help now and we are ready to answer that call. We have spoken with some of the leaders from both islands and they are overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the work that lies ahead. Together we can help bring these islands back to life and restore all that has been lost. We invite you to partner with us in aid of those affected by Hurricane Dorian. All funds donated will be used for the strict purpose of providing aid and relief to the victims of Hurricane Dorian and helping rebuild the islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco. Our ultimate goal here at Operation Live 2 Give is not just to feed and clothe but to bring, healing to the whole man, as so many of these victims have been emotionally traumatized.
